Brave SC Win Home Opener 5-0 Against Brevard SC

Brave SC returned to their winning ways and picked up their first victory of the 2024 season. A year after an incredible run in the USL2 league playoffs, Brave SC once again showed why they should be viewed as one of the most dominant teams this season.

Brave SC took to the Range at the old Villages High School, which has now become the new Villages Middle School. The last time the team stepped on this surface, they became division champions.

But that season is long gone, and now Brave SC is focusing on a new year. It was Matheus Ferreira and Alvaro Carrera, along with Nico Diaz, who were able to score, but perhaps there was no better goal than Fabio Rodrigues’ bicycle kick for Brave SC’s third goal of the game.

While Brevard SC attempted to make adjustments early, Brave SC proved to be too much for Brevard to handle. Head coach Anderson DaSilva was pleased with the team’s performance and has this group looking good as we head into the summer months.

With the season off to a strong start, Brave SC will be challenged during their next contest, which will be a matchup with Brooke House next Saturday night at 7 p.m. at The Range at The Villages Charter Middle School.
