Business Women of Style 2026 – Leslie Campione

For Leslie Campione, public service is more than a responsibility, it’s an honor grounded in the community she deeply loves and calls home.
A graduate of Eustis High School, Leslie earned degrees from Furman University and the University of Florida before returning to Lake County to build her career as an attorney and small business owner.
A lifelong athlete, Leslie credits her father, Keith Shamrock, with instilling her work ethic and love for sports and the outdoors, including swimming, hiking, camping, tennis and basketball. Her father, who played football at Stetson University was drafted into the NFL, but instead chose to serve in the U.S. Army, a decision that shaped her sense of duty.
Now serving as a Lake County Commissioner, she has been an advocate for parks, trails, growth management, ecotourism and preserving access to Silver Glen Run while keeping it family-friendly. She has also championed initiatives for bear-resistant trash cans, Keep Lake Beautiful and a nationally recognized no-kill animal shelter.
“At the end of the day, all I’ve ever wanted to do is make a positive impact in our community because I feel so grateful to have been able to raise my family here and call Lake County home.”
