The City of Mount Dora has teamed up with OneBlood to host a blood drive on Thursday, April 8, 2021.
The city supports OneBlood in its efforts to save lives through blood drives. During this drive, not only will OneBlood be collecting blood, but also checking blood pressure, pulse, temperature, COVID-19 antibody test, iron count, and do a cholesterol screening.
The Big Red Bus will be parked in front of City Hall from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and everyone is welcome to come and donate blood. OneBlood will be giving away a free tie-dye t-shirt and $10 e-gift card with the wellness checkup.
Appointments are encouraged for social distancing. To book an appointment, head to oneblood.org/donate-now and use code #37629. Please register early as these time slots tend to fill up quickly.
