Community Leaders Get First Look at Leesburg Chick-fil-A
A crowd of community leaders, including Leesburg City Commissioners and members of the Leesburg Chamber of Commerce, gathered on Wednesday morning for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony and a “first taste” at the new Chick-fil-A location in Leesburg. Located at 9925 US Highway 441, this latest addition to the franchise introduces a new prototype design to the region.
In fact, it’s only the seventh in the nation under the P14 design. According Marketing and Community Outreach Coordinator Brittany Culpepper, this store will be a hybrid of the typical fast-food style along with a new dine-in option.
“People will have the option to sit down and have a menu brought to them to order,” Brittany says. “Also, we have a separate staff fulfilling and refilling drink orders, as well as a separate order area from the kitchen.”
The drive-thru has also been revamped to dedicate one lane to mobile orders, so guests don’t have to wait when they order ahead. Anticipating the long drive-thru lines that Chick-fil-A are known for, (but get through in record time), the line wraps all the way around the building. I’ve always said, if Chick-fil-A ran TSA, we might actually get to our flights in time.
In addition to its cutting-edge drive-thru system, the new Chick-fil-A in Leesburg features a spacious dining room designed for comfort and productivity. Separate from the bustling kitchen, the dining area offers a quieter environment ideal for meetings, study sessions, or simply enjoying a meal with family and friends.
“We treat everyone with honor, dignity, respect and a humble, peaceful manner with a caring spirit,” franchise operator Eric Johnson says. “We like selfless acts of kindness and random acts of kindness that we do and perform. And we now get that opportunity to do it here into the Leesburg community.”
Chick-fil-A in Leesburg will open its doors Thursday, with operating hours from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For more information, visit https://www.facebook.com/cfaleesburgfl.
