Community Mourns Oxford’s Joel Harrison Law Remembered as Devoted Father, Outdoorsman
Oxford, Fla. — A tragic car crash on January 17th claimed the life of Joel Harrison Law, a well-known resident of Oxford, Florida. Law, 39, was traveling with his daughter, Bryleigh Law, who miraculously survived the accident. The accident was caused by an SUV which blew a stop sign at the intersection causing a Nissan Altima to veer into the eastbound lanes of traffic causing a fatal collision.
Born on August 30, 1985, in Leesburg, Florida, to Keith Otis and Donna Marie (Harrison) Law Flannery, Law was deeply rooted in his community. He was known for his love of family, outdoor adventures, and the Florida wilderness. An avid outdoorsman, he spent much of his time enjoying airboat rides, hunting, and fishing with his children, friends, and family.
Law was preceded in death by his father, Keith Otis Law. He is survived by his three children, Bryce, Bryleigh, and Blaine; his mother, Donna Marie Law Flannery; his brother, Michael Law among others.
Friends and family remember Law as a devoted father who cherished time spent in nature and with his loved ones.
A celebration of life memorial service will be announced at a later date. Online condolences and the most up-to-date obituary can be found at www.bankspagetheus.com. Arrangements are entrusted to Banks/Page-Theus Funerals and Cremations in Wildwood, Florida.
Please continue to pray for this family. We pray Bryleigh makes a full recovery and we also pray for her mother Whitney Law who is battling cancer. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
