Dash Sports, a locally owned running and walking specialty store in Clermont, has been named one of the 2025 Best Running Stores in the Country by The Running Event, a leading trade show and conference for the run specialty industry.

The recognition places Dash Sports among an elite group of 100 stores across the nation honored for excellence in community engagement, customer service, staff support and innovation. The awards program underwent an extensive evaluation this year, with over 270 stores from 45 states nominated. Each store was required to complete a detailed evaluation covering employee benefits, inclusivity, sustainability, and business practices. Finalists were then visited twice by secret shoppers to assess in-store experiences.

“We are absolutely beyond thrilled and incredibly humbled by this recognition,” Kimberly Grogan, owner of Dash Sports says. “To be named among the best running stores in the entire country is a testament to the hard work and passion of our entire team, and the unwavering support of our amazing community.”

The honor comes as Dash Sports celebrates its 20th anniversary and the recent opening of its second location in Winter Garden.

“This award truly highlights our commitment to providing personalized service and fostering a welcoming environment for every runner and walker,” Kimberly says. “We pour our hearts into empowering our customers, and this honor reaffirms that mission.”

Dash Sports has served Central Florida for two decades, offering expert shoe fittings, high-quality gear, and a supportive atmosphere for fitness enthusiasts of all levels. The recent expansion into Winter Garden reflects the store’s ongoing dedication to the region’s growing active lifestyle community.
