For the second time in school history the East Ridge Lady Knights won a district championship. It is now the second year in a row that they have accomplished this. East Ridge would finish first with West Orange in second and Dr. Phillips taking 3rd place. Other Lake County schools included Lake Minneola finishing 5th and South Lake finishing 6th.

East Ridge got big scores from Adyson Liddick, Neelyanis Lugo, Anya Kalinin, Kara Aiello, Mahalia Sharpe, Briana Santos, Vivian Hunter and Francesca Como to take first palce in Traditional by just 5 points in front of West Orange.

Meanwhile in the Olympic class it was a complete run away as East Ridge would win by over 22 points against Lake Minneola who would take 2nd place. In the 110 pound weight class Aaliyah Days would take first place while the Unlimited class was dominated by Briana, Santos.

Congratulations to all the lifters and to East Ridge for capturing the district championship in both traditional and olympic weightlifting.
