Ten East Ridge High School football players signed their commitment letters to play football in college. It was a huge day for East Ridge Football as the Knights have sent 10 players off to continue their academic and playing careers at the next level.

(Ten members of the 2024 East Ridge football team have signed their college commitment letters to continue their academic and playing careers.)

The East Ridge Knights under Head Coach Donnie Burchfield have been putting in a ton of work in the past few years. This team finished 5-5 last year. The year before was 4-6, and just three years ago they were 1-10. Since Coach Donnie Burchfield has taken the helm, East Ridge has shown remarkable improvements.

The school’s social media pages are cranking out content, Donnie Burchfield is showing off the team’s hard work on his social media channels, and the team looks bigger, stronger, and more physical than they have in years. That is due to a great coaching staff and these players believing in the system.

That has resulted in players earning the opportunity to continue their academic and playing careers in college. Ten athletes have signed with schools that will continue to shape them as athletes and students for the years to come. Below is a list of athletes and where they are headed for the 2024 football season.

The list of East Ridge High Football player signings:

  • Timothy Moses – Briar Cliff University
  • Justin Saunders – Briar Cliff University
  • Anthony “AJ” Stoneburg – Southeastern University
  • Chase Rampersad – Ave Maria University
  • Preston Sepulveda – Norwich University
  • Daniel Ortiz – Atlantis University
  • Jake Ley – Ave Maria University
  • Travarus Boykin – Briar Cliff University
  • Eric Anaya – Iowa Central Community College
  • Shean Guinane – (Signed)”
