The Tavares Chamber of Commerce has named Byron Faudie, owner of eSportsPhoto, as its 2025 Small Business of the Year, recognizing his innovation and community involvement in his field.

Founded in 2008, eSportsPhoto specializes in sports and event photography, capturing everything from race finishes to celebrations and galas.

“Whether you’re a world-class athlete accomplishing a bucket-list achievement or crossing the line of your first 5K, we’re there to capture the moment,” Byron says.

The company’s photo booths, introduced in 2010, have expanded to include DSLR cameras, professional lighting, portable print labs, and even a 360-degree video booth.

“Our photo booths are the fun part of any party and our red-carpet experiences bring glamour and prestige to any event,” he says.

Beyond business, Byron has been co-organizer of TEDxEustis since 2016, helping present over 100 speakers, and has volunteered for The Amazing Race for Charity, the Educational Foundation’s Ren Faire and the Hideaway Performing Arts Center.

Byron lives by a quote from Byron V. Garrett, which says, “Find something in your life that you love so much you’ll do it for free—but you do it so well, you get paid.”

“The convergence of turning your passion into your career, that side hustle to freedom, is what makes my job the best job I could ever create for myself,” Byron says.

Byron said he’s proud to have built a business that fills a genuine need rather than competing for existing markets.

“I’m out here to blaze my own path,” he says. “We only photograph fun things, what event do you have coming up that would benefit from adding a fun photo experience?”
