Eustis to Celebrate Law Enforcement at May First Friday
May is Law Enforcement Appreciation Month, and the City of Eustis is celebrating members of the Eustis Police Department at their First Friday event on May 3, from 6 to 9 p.m. The evening will feature a variety of law enforcement vehicles, from police cars to the armored, tactical vehicle used by the S.W.A.T. (Special Weapons and Tactics) team, K-9 officers and much more, with opportunities for families.
Attendees can look forward to meeting K-9 officers and engaging with the officers themselves, and there’s a surprise appearance planned by a ‘beloved costumed canine!’
First Fridays take place in downtown Eustis, among the local businesses and restaurants, with many street vendors setting up alongside live music.
