Halifax Academy @ Umatilla High

Umatilla High comes in with a brand new coach in 2023. Former Umatilla High School alumni and professional football player Eric Samuels has taken over as head coach for the Bulldogs. Coach Samuels played for Vanderbilt in college before going and playing for the Edmonton Eskimos in the CFL (Canadian Football League). Umatilla comes in with an a highly experienced quarterback Logan Bowling. The team is overall young but Bowling will certainly be one of the most experienced players out there. Last year Umatilla went 5-5 and nearly had some close wins that would have gave the team a winning record. We will see what kind of magic they can dial up against Halifax Academy which should be a good team to judge the strengths and weaknesses of the Umatilla Offense and Defense.
