Windermere High @ Tavares High

It is the dawn of a new era at Tavares High School. Head Coach Gavin Jones returns to the Tavares Program taking the head coaching position. Jones has been the head coach before in the late 2000s until the early 2010s. Jones has been the wrestling coach for Tavares the last few years. But after a season that saw the Bulldogs go 0-10. Jones was given the opportunity to take over again. Tavares has some talent on the roster but they are young. It will be interesting to see how this team comes out of the tunnel. Can they string together a few wins this year? Even 2 or 3 wins this season would be a step in the right direction for the school. If anyone can make that happen it is coach Jones who averaged around 5 wins per season during his previous years coaching the team. Windermere High likewise is coming off a disastrous 2022 season. Both these schools are looking to win a game for the first time in well over a year! Should be an interesting first game in the Gavin Jones era at Tavares High School!
