Find Your Perfect Match During Fee-Free Adoption Event
The Lake County Animal Shelter is inviting residents to find their perfect match this February with its Valentine’s adoption campaign, “You Can’t Buy Love, But You Can Adopt It.” To celebrate the season of love, the shelter is waiving adoption fees for all pets through the end of the month.
The campaign aims to connect every animal in the shelter’s care with a forever family. By waiving adoption fees, the shelter hopes that the perfect match is based on a heart-to-heart connection rather than price.
“Valentine’s Day reminds us that love changes lives, and adoption is one of the most powerful ways to make that difference,” said Whitney Boylston, Director of the Lake County Animal Shelter. “By working together to clear the shelter, we’re showing the community that unconditional love doesn’t come with a price tag, but it may come with paws, whiskers, and a second chance. We hope this ‘gift of love’ inspires families to choose adoption.”
All adoptions include:
- Spay or Neuter Surgery
- Initial vaccinations
- Microchip identification
- A lifetime of love!
The fee-waived promotion began on Monday, Feb. 9, and runs through Saturday, Feb. 28. Potential adopters are encouraged to visit https://lakecountyfl.gov/animal-shelter/adoptions to view all the adoptable pets.
