February 17, 2025 – Eustis, FL — Brittany Beall, the former coach of Eustis High School baseball, has accomplished a significant milestone in her coaching career by securing her first NCAA Division 1 softball victory. The win came with an impressive 9-1 triumph over Howard University.

Beall’s coaching prowess has already built a formidable legacy at Eustis High School, where under her leadership, the Panthers clinched multiple district titles and won the state championship in 2021 and 2024. With an impressive record of 244 wins and just 69 losses, her tenure at Eustis High had been characterized simply by  dominance on the field.

“She’s been a pillar in our community,” said Matthew Burgess, the Eustis High athletic director. “Her commitment to developing young women as athletes and leaders has been extraordinary. She brought the school state championships, but more than that, she has changed lives. What she has done for our community is incredible.”

(Eustis High graduate Ciara Maple had a hand in the win. Maple had 2 hits and an RBI during the 9-1 victory. It was also Ciara Maple’s first career win as an FAMU Rattler.)

Beall’s coaching journey at Eustis included leading the Panthers to the state championship game in 2017, where they finished as runners-up. Beall’s amazing decade long success of dominating at the high school level got her the chance to lead FAMU last year.

FAMU will be a team to watch in the coming years as Beall continues to enhance the program. Jamison JTownsend had 2 RBI’s in the game along with Brianna Duggins. Eustis High graduate Ciara Maple also contributed heavily with 2 hits and an RBI.
