Former Lake Minneola Offensive Lineman Derrick Graham Commits to Texas A&M

Former Lake Minneola Offensive Lineman Derrick Graham has committed to Texas A&M! This is exciting news for the former Lake Minneola Hawk who graduated in 2020.

During Derrick’s high school career, he helped lead Lake Minneola to a 9-4 record, a district title and a berth in the FHSAA 6A Regional Finals. He was named to the Florida Athletic Coaches Association District 8 Team, Named all-area as a senior and junior and Rated a three-star recruit by ESPN. He was also an All-area and all-district selection in weightlifting.

Derrick is the son of Derrick Graham Sr. who played nine seasons in the NFL for the Raiders, Seahawks and Chiefs. Derrick committed to Troy Trojans out of high school. He was the first True Freshman to start for Troy’s offensive line since Deontae Crumitie in 2015 and started the final nine games at right tackle.

Derrick would redshirt his 2021 season and played in 12 games during his 2022 season. The move to Texas A&M is exciting. We can’t wait to see Derrick Graham go to work! Congratulations to his family, coaches, friends and teammates. Go Derrick!

Kyle Coppola was born in Newton, Massachusetts and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications from Curry College in 2016. After traveling to Florida on a family vacation, he decided he could not get enough of the warm weather and made the move from snowy Massachusetts to central Florida 8 years ago.

Outside the office Kyle is a husband and father to two beautiful girls along with their cat. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family, travel, play golf and swim. He is also a huge sports junkie and even bigger motorsports fan and loves to attend racing events when he can.
