Farm Share, a nonprofit organization dedicated to combating food insecurity in Florida, will host a free food distribution event in Lady Lake on Wednesday, September 25. The event, organized in partnership with North Lake Presbyterian Christian Church, will offer fresh produce and non-perishable canned goods to residents in need.

Event Details:

  • Date: Wednesday, September 25
  • Time: 9:00 AM (until supplies run out)
  • Location: 975 Rolling Acres Rd., Lady Lake, FL 32159

The distribution will be conducted in a drive-thru format. Attendees are asked to arrive in a vehicle with a trunk or cargo bed to facilitate easy loading. The event will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and will continue until all supplies have been distributed.

Farm Share partners with local farmers to recover and redistribute fresh produce that would otherwise go to waste due to aesthetic imperfections. This effort not only helps reduce food waste but also provides nutritious food to families struggling with food insecurity.
