Lasting Vitality
If someone had asked me a year ago what longevity meant, I probably would have said, “Living to 100.”Today, my answer is completely different. This past year has been one of the most challenging of my life. Like so many women, I found myself navigating hormonal changes, unexpected health issues, weight loss, exhaustion and moments when I simply didn’t feel like myself anymore. There were days I questioned what was happening to my body and wondered if I’d ever feel “normal” again.I’ve learned that longevity isn’t measured by the number of birthdays we celebrate; it’s measured by the quality of the life we live. It’s waking up with energy. It’s taking care of our minds as much as our bodies. It’s making time for the people we love, choosing foods that fuel us, moving a little more and giving ourselves grace when life doesn’t go according to plan. Most importantly, it’s realizing that our health deserves to be a priority, not something we squeeze in after we’ve taken care of everyone else.

That’s exactly why we created this issue—to introduce you to physicians, wellness experts and health care professionals who are passionate about helping people live healthier, fuller lives. You’ll discover new ideas, practical advice and inspiring stories that I hope encourage you to take one small step toward becoming the healthiest version of yourself. My own journey is still unfolding. I’m still learning, still asking questions and still working every day to become stronger than I was yesterday. Maybe that’s what longevity is really about, not chasing perfection, but embracing progress.Thank you for allowing Style Magazine to be part of your journey. Here’s to feeling better, living healthier and making every year ahead our very best.To your health,

Kendra
