Hey everyone,

It’s that time of the year again when we’re all fueled by the energy of new beginnings and the buzz of what’s to come. 

If you’re anything like me, you kicked off 2024 determined to tackle new challenges, chase down big dreams and make this year one for the books. 

Now that we are halfway through ’24, we’ve hit a few bumps in the road (hello political dramas, soaring interest rates and that never-ending inflation saga), but that’s not slowing us down — especially not here in Lake and Sumter Counties.

Dive into this month’s edition to catch a glimpse of a community that’s literally buzzing with creativity and entrepreneurial flair. It’s as if the word obstacle doesn’t exist in our dictionary.

Take, for instance, our 2024 Man of the Year, Dr. Isaac Deas. Now here’s someone who embodies what it means to lead with gusto and grab opportunities by the horns, alongside other inspiring leaders making waves as CEOs, business owners and even political figures. They didn’t just face the music; they danced through it. We’re tipping our hats to you!

Our corner of the world is teeming with excitement, and I couldn’t be more honored to share these stories with you through Style magazine. It’s a privilege to spotlight such an incredible community every month.
