Health Pros: A Reason to Smile
Reason to Smile
Patients of Leesburg Signature Smiles have many reasons to smile.
“Practicing in Leesburg, I work with patients who have a high dental IQ and know what they need. Patients appreciate and take care of the work done in their mouth,” says Dr. Gary Cardoso.
The full-service office is equipped to handle all dental needs, from preventive care to cosmetic and restorative procedures:
Patients benefit from state-of-the-art technology and treatment performed to the highest standards by a very experienced, professional and friendly staff.
Digital dentistry, cone beam CT imaging and an in-house lab are just some of the technologies utilized in day-to-day treatment.
“It is important to have the right tools to make a correct diagnosis. Implementing these tools, we detect disease in its earliest stages, resulting in more restorative than surgical treatment,” says Dr. Cardoso.
“We’re very patient focused and perform no nonsense, honest dentistry. We’ve had tremendous growth, and the main reason is because of how we run this office as a team. We’re a private—not corporate—office and we truly run this business as a family,” he adds.
Born and raised in Dubai, after completing high school he moved with his family to India where he earned his dental degree. In 2008, Dr. Cardoso and his wife moved to the United States where he attended college at Nova Southeastern University in Florida and obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
Always striving to improve himself, he did a general practice residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut.
When not in the office, Dr. Cardoso is spending time with his wife and their twin boys or enjoying his musical pursuits. He’s played in several bands—from rock to contemporary Christian—and is a classically trained pianist.
You’ll also find Dr. Cardoso volunteering and providing free dental services at churches around the Leesburg Community.
“There’s a bigger picture than just making a living. It’s very gratifying to see that we’re doing something good,” says Dr. Cardoso, who credits his parents for instilling that volunteer spirit of helping others.
