RESPECT FOR RESPONDERS

The South Lake Chamber of Commerce honored first responders on September 15 at the Clermont Performing Arts Center. The chamber’s second annual First Responders Appreciation Breakfast featured honorees from all Lake County departments/agencies of public service. Retired Fire Chief Julius Halas keynoted the event, where Leonard Polcaro of Montverde Academy received the Ray Goodgame Outstanding Student Leader Scholarship. Attendees spent the morning showing their appreciation for the tireless work first responders do.
