Tropical Tribute

The Frankie Valente Scholarship Fund hosted its sold-out Hawaiian Casino Night in February at The Plantation in Leesburg to raise money for EMT and paramedic scholarships. Guests enjoyed gourmet food, raffles and a $2,500 cruise giveaway. More than 80 sponsors helped raise thousands of dollars to support education and training for Lake County first responders. The lively evening featured food, drinks, a festive luau and over $20,000 in prizes awarded.
