The Kiwanis Club of Clermont 100 Years

A Century of Service
The Kiwanis Club of Clermont has shaped the heart of the community for 100 years by championing projects that support children’s health, education and leadership. The milestone was marked with a festive celebration at Clermont’s Performing Arts Center, where members past and present gathered to honor a century of service and look ahead to the next generation of impact. State Kiwanis leaders recognized the club’s lasting influence, while a heartfelt historical tribute revisited its roots, from early school lunch initiatives to the leadership of first president W.N. McKinney. The evening also highlighted four generations of Kiwanis service within one family and ended on a sweet note with everyone joining together to sing “Happy Birthday” and eat cake.
