Grillin’ and Chillin’

Pig on the Pond Community Festival took place at Waterfront Park in Clermont, October 13-15. Many of the 20,000 participants celebrating the silver anniversary of the event contributed to a popular time capsule. Activities for the 25th annual event included a carnival, live entertainment, pig races, a kids zone and fireworks. The junior grillmasters competition sponsored by Publix allowed kids to show off their BBQ skills. Festival proceeds benefited Project Scholars scholarship program. Pig on the Pond is the largest event held in the city annually.
