Step back in time as Johnson’s Village Marketplace in Clermont gears up for its grand opening this Saturday, January 13, from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. In the heart of Historic Downtown Clermont along the scenic South Lake Trail at 550 West Ave., this local corner grocery store is a blend of tradition and specialty.

Johnson’s Village Marketplace is not your average grocery store. It’s a place aimed to bring charm and nostalgia with a unique shopping experience.  One of the standout features is the running train track that winds its way through the store.

Inside, you’ll discover a treasure trove of nostalgic candies and drinks, along with two vintage airstream food trailers are ready to serve up classic delights, including the perfect cup of Joe, sliders, wraps, and salads.

For those who enjoy a little sip while they shop, the Whistle Stop, their in-store door bar, offers a unique experience.

As if that’s not enticing enough, the grand opening promises a day filled with exciting activities and surprises. Shoppers can participate in a raffle with a prize valued at $100, and there will be complimentary food and drink sampling throughout the day.

Families are also in for a treat, with plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained. From 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, there will be free face painting and from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, free balloon animals.

Johnson’s Village Marketplace invites the community to explore this one-of-a-kind shopping experience. From nostalgic treats to unique finds and family fun, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
