Dinosaurs have arrived at Lake Square Mall — and they have feathers.

Sunshine Event Promotions, in partnership with Lake Square Mall, is bringing in the Jurassic Mall Exhibit, calling it the largest feathered dinosaur exhibition in Florida. The exhibit runs on select dates from July 1 through September 30, with a grand opening celebration scheduled for Saturday, July 5 at 11 a.m.

More than 70 prehistoric creatures fill the immersive walkthrough exhibit, which was created by Planet Earth Sculpture, a company known for producing museum-quality dinosaur displays for the Smithsonian, the American Museum of Natural History in New York and Universal Studios.

The exhibit aims to blend education and entertainment in a hands-on, visual environment designed for families, students and dinosaur fans of all ages. Organizers describe it as “a journey through time,” offering guests the chance to walk among lifelike recreations of ancient species in a setting meant to spark curiosity and fuel the imagination.

Admission is $5 per person, with free entry for children 5 and under. A $50 Unlimited Pass Badge is also available for those who want repeat access throughout the summer. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.

The exhibit is housed in Room #310 at Lake Square Mall. A full calendar of events and showtimes can be found at lakecollectacon.com.

Organizers said the long-term mission is to use the success of this exhibit to lay the groundwork for a nonprofit, year-round dinosaur museum in Lake County or elsewhere in Central Florida.
