Kara Sparks is the epitome of a woman who does it all.

She is a wife and mother of three, a long-time hairstylist, and a business owner of not just one company, but two.

As co-owner of Central Florida Roof Rescue, she oversees and manages the entire company alongside her husband, Mike. Their Veteran-owned company continues to grow with her, while Mike serves our country as he is needed.

Additionally, Kara, a hair stylist for 15 years, recently closed her former salon on 441, and in March, opened the doors to Laru’e Kay Salon & Boutique in the heart of downtown Mount Dora.

The beautiful storefront serves as a hair salon for established customers, and as a fashion boutique with something for everyone, including everyday clothing, athleisurewear, jewelry, and accessories for men, children and women of all ages and sizes.

Kara says the merchandise she carries is fun, comfortable, trendy, affordable and meant to complement everyone’s inner beauty.

“I really wanted a place where anyone can come shop, find something they like, and leave feeling happy and great about themselves,” Kara adds.
