Lake County Animal Shelter Kicks Off ‘Adopt Your Lucky Charm’ Campaign
The Lake County Animal Shelter is inviting residents to come celebrate its March adoption campaign, “Adopt Your Lucky Charm.” All month long, adoption fees for dogs will be reduced to $17, and the cost for cats will be buy one for $7 and get one free throughout the entire month.
The campaign is designed to help more pets find permanent, loving homes while encouraging the community to consider adoption as their first choice. By lowering adoption fees, the shelter hopes families will focus on finding the right fit and forming a lasting bond.
“Every pet in our shelter is hoping to be lucky enough to become a part of a forever family,” says Whitney Boylston, Director of the Lake County Animal Shelter. “Adoption changes lives, not just for the animals, but for the families who bring them home. When you choose adoption, you’re giving a pet a second chance and opening the door for us to help even more animals in need.”
All adoptions include:
- Spay or neuter surgery
- Initial vaccinations
- Microchip identification
- A lifetime of love
