Lake County Fair Continues With Rides, Shows and Local Vendors

The Lake County Fair is in full swing at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Eustis, offering a full week of entertainment, agriculture showcases and family-friendly attractions through Sunday, April 19.

Held at 2101 County Road 452, the fair features a mix of carnival rides, live performances and traditional livestock events, drawing crowds from across the region.

Throughout the week, visitors can enjoy a variety of entertainment acts including Circus Incredible, Cowboy Circus, Extreme Illusions & Escapes and Robinson’s Racing Pigs, with multiple shows scheduled each evening. Specialty attractions like Agricadabra, Brad Matchett Hypnotist Show and Mythicreatures Dragons also add to the lineup.

Several livestock shows and competitions will be taking place. Highlights include the Market Steer Show on Friday at 6pm, followed by showmanship competitions Saturday morning. Livestock sales are scheduled for Saturday afternoon, including the Market Goat & Lamb Sale at 3pm and the Market Steer Sale at 4pm. The fair wraps up Sunday with a horse show beginning at 2pm.

The fair also offers themed discount days, including $2 Tuesday, featuring $2 admission and rides, and Family Day on Wednesday, where up to six people can enjoy admission and unlimited rides for $85 with tickets purchased online. Daily admission ranges from $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for children ages 4 to 12.

Inside the Main Expo Hall, Whimsy Market vendors are offering a wide range of products from local small businesses. Open daily during fair hours, the market features boutique clothing, western wear, gourmet sweets, 3D-printed toys and handmade items. Organizers say vendors have spent months preparing for the event, with rotating booths throughout the week to give visitors something new each time they attend.
