TAVARES, Fla. — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office delivered 954 pounds of food to Lake Cares Food Pantry, bolstering its annual holiday food drive to support local families in need.

Collected through community donations at three drop-off locations, the non-perishable goods will help feed countless families in Lake County during the holiday season.

(Members of the LCSO drop off nearly 1,000 pounds of food to Lake Cares. This will go a long way to feed local families in need this holiday season.)

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to this effort! Your generosity will make a significant difference for families in our community this holiday season.

Lake Cares, a nonprofit food pantry serving the region, expressed appreciation for the sheriff’s office and the community’s support. The donations come at a critical time when many families face increased challenges during the holidays.

This is awesome community support! Thank you to everyone who donated!
