Leesburg High School is coming off of one of their most successful football seasons since the early 1990s. The program is set to usher in a new era when head coach Frank Scott takes the field this Friday evening. Frank Scott has moved over to Leesburg High School after a successful few years at Eustis High School where he built Eustis into a successful district championship winning football program.
Frank Scott will now lead the Leesburg Yellow Jackets in 2024 after Steven Moffett took a new coaching position with The First Academy in Orlando. The spring football game will be an exciting first glimps into the 2024 season.
The actual Spring Football game against an actual opponent will be played on Thursday May 16th at Citrus High School at 7:00pm for those wanting to attend. That is also open to the public.
For fans wanting to attend the Orange vs Black football contest, admission is only $5 and parking is FREE. We are looking forward to seeing some Friday Night Lights football action once again before the season truly begins in August!
