Kids who want to improve their basketball skills will have the opportunity to do so with Coach D’Mani Nettles of Leesburg High School this upcoming year. Coach Nettles will be offering one-hour basketball training sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays this year.

Leesburg is known for its basketball history. The school has won four state championships, most recently in 2016 and 2017, as well as in 2011 and 1977. A school that rich in history now offers local kids the chance to improve their skills.

“The idea is to help these kids get to where they want to be, but also to keep them busy and out of the streets,” says Coach D’Mani Nettles. Nettles knows a thing or two about being a champion—he was a player at the school during the 2016 and 2017 state championship-winning seasons.

Those teams even produced NBA talent like Keon Ellis, who plays with the Sacramento Kings. Sessions will cost just $20, which is a real bargain considering many places charge upwards of $50 to $60 for training sessions.

For those interested, they can call Coach Nettles at 954-798-3402 or email him at dmaninettles@kw.com.
