Company/Job title: Modern Granite, LLC, Sales/Office Manager

Job responsibilities: My husband Leo and I measure job sites, have slabs cut and fabricated, loaded, and driven to sites for installation. I schedule most meetings with customers, plus I drive the crew and am present during transactions/installations to ensure customers can communicate any questions or concerns they may have through me. 

How I got into my career: I got into this industry by supporting my husband’s passion for it and told him I would help him succeed.

What makes you passionate about my career: Having the ability to help customers bring their dream kitchen to life just fills my heart.

My greatest career accomplishment: Obtaining our own shop and matrix bridge saw machine. We started off renting a small area at our friend’s shop, so branching out on our own is something we are beyond grateful for.

My advice for the younger generation: Never be afraid and never give up. If you have a passion for something, go for it. You’re never “too young.” There is no set age for entrepreneurship.

Favorite pastime: Family. I love spending time with my husband and our three children: Sophia, 5, Leo Jr. 4, and Daniella, 2.  

Life after 40: Our long-term goal is having a bigger location with a showroom, multiple employees and developing bigger projects for long-term business contracts.
