Limit Avenue in Mount Dora Closed for Approximately Six Weeks

Beginning June 16th, Limit Avenue will be closed between North Grandview Street to North Highland Street for approximately six weeks. The closure is due to Lake County beginning construction on the roundabout just east of the City’s new Public Works & Utilities Complex. This is part of the broader project to improve roadway connectivity and safety in the area.

(You can see the construction happening in Mount Dora. A new roundabout is said to improve traffic flow.)
Project Benefits
- A new roundabout for smoother traffic flow and improved safety.
- A connected internal road network with multi-use sidewalks.
- Future installation of a traffic signal at US 441 to better manage traffic volume.
- Enhanced access to new residential and commercial developments.
