Lisa Maria Tartaglia, DO, is medical director of VITAS^® Healthcare, overseeing the care of VITAS hospice patients in their homes, nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Lake and Sumter counties. Board certified in both family medicine, and hospice and palliative medicine, she developed an interest in end-of-life care early in her career and continues to mentor student physicians, residents and colleagues in the specialty that has become her passion. In her spare time, Dr. Tartaglia is an experienced baker and cook who loves to travel with her husband and two children.
