Congratulations to Mount Dora High School student Brayan Sanchez Escobar who recently had his artwork selected by the Mount Dora Yacht Club Regatta for the 2024 Annual Regatta.

Along with Brayan’s artwork being selected for the Regatta he was presented with a $1,000 scholarship during his art class last week. Brayan’s artwork will be featured around town on post cards, the Regatta program, and Regatta shirts.

(The artwork that will be present on the shirts and post cards for the 2024 Regatta.)

Mount Dora High School says “Thank you to the Mount Dora Yacht Club Regatta for your support of Mount Dora High School and the arts program.” This is exciting as not only does artwork of a student get presented to the greater public but that the student received a scholarship.

(Brayan was presented with a scholarship for $1,000 for his contributions to the Regatta.)
