Local Pizzerias Partner with Animal Rescue to Help Dogs Find Forever Homes

PizzAmore in Mount Dora and Luigi’s Italian Restaurant in Eustis have partnered with A Forever Home Animal Rescue to help dogs find their forever homes through a unique pizza box campaign. With support from local businesses and volunteers, the rescue is spreading awareness about its no-kill shelter and encouraging pet adoptions.

Earlier this month, the team at PizzAmore helped place special stickers featuring adoptable dogs from A Forever Home Animal Rescue on their pizza boxes. As diners enjoyed their meals, the hope was that the messages on the boxes would inspire more people to consider adoption. During the campaign launch, a couple at the restaurant expressed interest in adopting a dog soon. “It takes a village, and we are so thankful and grateful for the community’s support,” Paula Dale says.

Luigi’s Italian Restaurant in Eustis has also joined the effort, promoting pet adoption through their pizza boxes. In a generous gesture, Luigi’s will provide a free pizza to the first adopter who adopts a dog after seeing their pizza box stickers.

Cassidy, the manager, and Mr. Luigi, the owner, who has a cat and dog himself, are passionate animal lovers and proud to support the campaign.

The rescue would also like to thank CSM PROMOTIONS in Tavares for their continued support. Kathy Gilmore, the owner, generously donated the postcards for the campaign and is an active foster and adopter herself.

A Forever Home Animal Rescue encourages local businesses to get involved and help spread the word.

“When one dog leaves the rescue, it makes room for another dog in need,” Paula says.

Any businesses or community members with ideas on how they can help are encouraged to reach out to the rescue.
