Looking toward the future

On September 14, attendees gathered at the Mission Inn Resort for the Lake Economic Area Development Partnership (LEAD) inaugural annual dinner. The event goal was to provide guests with insights into LEAD’s projects, accomplishments and plans for the future. LEAD’s mission centers on economic development to benefit Lake County residents, businesses and communities. Laura DiBella, president and CEO of the state’s public-private economic development agency Enterprise Florida, was the keynote speaker at the meeting, where she highlighted prospects for the region’s economic development.
