Luck-U Cycles: A Destination for Bike Sales, Service and Weekend Fun
When Jeremy Coon opened Lucky U Cycles in Wildwood at the age of 23, he had already been in the motorcycle business for seven years. Making that bold transition was a way make a good living doing what he loved and it quickly paid off.
“At first, I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself in to,” he says. “we were just hoping to sell 5 to 15 bikes a month and make decent money, but after about three months, we knew we were going to sell way more than we projected.”
They now sell around 100 bikes a month and last year they sold 1285, staying on pace to do the same this year.
Jeremy believes that Lucky U’s success has been achieved through a combination of hard work, persistence, and a dedication to treating customers with respect and providing exceptional service. As a result, Lucky-U Cycles has become the top seller of pre-owned motorcycles in the entire state of Florida, which is a testament to their commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
After 16 years in their original location, Lucky U Cycles is moving just one mile South to a brand-new, 15,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility that features a mix of an old-west saloon with modern industrial steel finishes.
The showroom boasts 8000 square feet to showcase 200+ bikes. Additionally, there is plenty of office space for staff and high-tech service bays for the mechanics.
The new lounge is also an exciting addition, and will give customers lots of room to relax while watching TV and utilizing the coffee station and vending machines.
While the crew and customers love the act of getting out on the open road, Jeremy admits that there is more to riding than climbing in the saddle and putting miles on the bike.
“I love the socialization of biking,” he says. “It brings people together and creates a strong bond. I’ve met some of the nicest people connecting with bikers whether it’s at an intersection, parking lot or even online.”
Which is why he has designed the new space with socializing in mind.
“I feel like our new place will have bigger and better events like bike shows, car shows, live music, food trucks, and fund-raisers,” he says.
“With our new location, Lucky U Cycles aims to be more than just a bike shop-we plan to be a hub for the local community and bikers alike.”
