MDCA Baseball Player Landon Marl Committs To Ferrum College

Congratulations to MDCA baseball player Landon Marl, who will continue his academic and baseball career at Ferrum College. Landon Marl is not only a great baseball player; he is also an amazing student with a 4.4 GPA.

Marl announced his commitment on X/Twitter: “After much thought, I am beyond blessed and honored to announce my commitment to Ferrum College. Thank you to all coaches, family, and friends who have helped me along the way.”

Marl has been working very hard this off-season, and in many ways, there is no off-season with Landon Marl. He is always working hard and just maxed his deadlift at 530lbs a few days ago. Marl has shown the ability to pitch in the mid-80s with an 84mph fastball with more in the tank.

He was impressive this summer during travel ball. That afforded Landon Marl the opportunity to play for Ferrum College, a prestigious private college located in Ferrum, Virginia, which is an NCAA Division III program that competes in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

Congratulations to Landon Marl and his family, friends, and coaches. MDCA is getting ready to embark on their 2024 baseball season in just two weeks.
