Dr. Stephen George

Dr. Stephen George didn’t take a straight path into dentistry and that’s what sets him apart.

Before becoming a dentist, he spent eight years working as an engineer. After a shift in perspective, he went back to school, building a new foundation in biology before entering dental school and later serving in the U.S. Navy, which helped fund his education and shape his clinical training.

Now with 14 years in dentistry, Stephen brings that experience into The Main Street Dentists, a practice he purchased in 2021. The office, originally established in the late 1990s, already aligned with the type of care he wanted to provide.

A general dentist with advanced training in prosthetic and implant dentistry, Stephen focuses on meeting patients where they are, whether that’s routine care or more complex procedures. The practice also uses modern technology, including in-house lab work and robotic-assisted implant placement.

That approach, paired with a focus on educating patients versus selling or overtreating them, has helped build a practice that Stephen believes is so successful because patients are treated well. 

“We treat our patients like we would treat family, which sounds cliché, but it’s true,” says Stephen. “One hundred percent of our patients come from referrals from other patients and we’re proud of that.”
