Michael Seegobin, Son of Marion County Firefighter, in the Finals of MasterChef Junior

In a nail-biting semi-final episode of Fox’s MasterChef Junior, Michael Seegobin demonstrated culinary excellence, securing his spot as a finalist in this season’s MasterChef Junior. Under the high-pressure “Keeping up with Gordon” challenge, Michael cooked alongside chef Gordon Ramsay, showcasing remarkable poise and precision.

Michael, a standout contestant throughout the season, impressed both the judges and viewers with his ability to handle the intense environment of the competition kitchen. His dish, a meticulously prepared duck à l’orange, won him immunity and sent him straight to the finals.

Inspired by his father, Lieutenant Deen Seegobin of Marion County Fire Rescue, Michael’s journey began in his family kitchen and was honed through countless hours of studying culinary skills on YouTube.

As Michael prepares for the final showdown, where he will compete for the title of MasterChef Junior and a grand prize of $100,000.
Tune in to FOX35 on Monday, May 13, at 8 PM to cheer on Michael!
