Mount Dora Christian Academy Justin Earle Commits To William Peace University

Mount Dora Christian Academy baseball player Justin Earle has committed to William Peace University in Raleigh North Carolina to continue his academic and playing career. William Peace University is an NCAA Division III institution member.
Earle is having a great senior year. He is batting a .328 average. He has also recorded 19 hits this year. Earle has managed to drive in 15 RBI’s and has scored 18 times which is second on the team in runs scored. Earle is also tied on the team in doubles with 6 on the year along with 2 home runs.
One of the most important aspects about Justin Earle is that he tends to get on base. One of the most important stats in baseball is the On-Base Percentage (OBP). Earle has the 2nd highest OBP on the team with a .467 which is essentially tied with Jacob Hair who has a .468 but the stats dip up and down through the year. The only person higher is Ethan Koller who has a .484 OBP.
Those are impressive numbers and Earle is a patient batter. He has taken 14 total walks this season. That’s 3rd on the team in that category. But it shows that Earle has a good eye and gets on base any way he possibly can. In doing so it’s the reason he is second on the team in stolen bases with 12 as of this writing and the reason he scores runs so often.
Colleges like that and so do the professionals. He will be a great asset to William Peace University and he is certainly one of the more well rounded baseball athletes that Lake County, Florida has to offer.
Congratulations to Justin Earle. We are excited for his family, friends, coaches and everyone who has impacted his life. We look forward to his future endeavors.
