Mount Dora High School student Christina Vukel had a massive year. The local singer has gone from just over 150,000 Spotify streams in 2022 to over 1 Million Spotify streams in 2023! This is terrific news for a rising star in the music industry.

Vukel is very talented. If you have never heard her sing you are in for a treat. The local Mount Dora High singing sensation has songs that are available on her you tube channel and She can also be found on Spotify.

The growth of Vukel’s music went from 46,000 listeners to over 110,000 listeners in just a year. While people listened to 3,700 hours of her music last year her numbers jumped to over 43,000 hours of music listened to in 2023.

“I started singing words, rhyming, coming up with my own music and dabbling with the guitar when I was about 2 years old. It’s just something that never left me.” says Christina. “It makes me feel amazing when people connect with one of my songs, or when a song touches them in some way.” she says.

This blossoming star is just getting started. She has big plans in 2024. In fact, she just released her first Christmas song called Gingerbread Town that you can find on Spotify. We will put the link here. Https://

Congratulations on a great year Christina! We hope you continue to reach for the stars and follow your dreams!
