Mount Dora’s Zyshonne Perry Commits to Baldwin Wallace University Football Program

MOUNT DORA, Fla. — Mount Dora High School senior Zyshonne Perry has officially committed to continue his football career at Baldwin Wallace University.
Perry, a standout offensive weapon for the Hurricanes, capped off his high school career with over 1,332 total yards and 12 touchdowns. Known for his explosive playmaking ability and leadership on and off the field, Perry was a key contributor to Mount Dora’s offense throughout his tenure.
“We are so proud of this young man,” says head football coach Luke Hutchinson. “He’s been an amazing part of the Mount Dora High Hurricanes, and we are thrilled to see him take the next step in his athletic and academic journey.”
Located in Berea, Ohio, Baldwin Wallace is an NCAA Division III school competing in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC). Perry will join the school as a wide receiver.

With his commitment, Perry becomes the latest Lake County talent to advance to the collegiate level.
Perry is expected to bring his speed, versatility, and work ethic to Baldwin Wallace, where he aims to make an impact from day one. We are so proud of Zyshonne. He worked so hard the past few years and absolutely earned this opportunity! Go Zyshonne!
