New 55+ Apartment Complex Coming to Leesburg
On Monday, the Leesburg Commission unanimously approved the annexation of a 15.4-acre piece of land that will become the River Fox Commons, a new housing complex for those 55 and older.
Located east of Montclair Road and south of Colonial Street, the annexation marks a significant step forward in providing quality housing options for the city’s senior population. The commission also made the decision to change the zoning from Urban Residential District to Leesburg City Planned Unit Development.
Paces Foundation Inc. will develop River Fox Commons, which will offer 92 apartments in two multi-story buildings with walking paths and recreational areas, pool and pool house, providing residents with a tranquil living environment. There will be options for one, two and three bedroom apartments.
