There’s so much to do this weekend between First Friday events, a craft fair, the Thundering Spirit Pow Wow and the carnival is in town! Here’s some great activities for when you’re Out-N-About:


Leesburg Carnival
Where: Lake Square Mall in Leesburg
When: 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday.

Unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36 inches and taller) are $35 on site while supplies last or online before 5 pm March 1 for $29 each, 2/$55 or 4/$99.

Eustis First Friday at the Square
Where: Downtown Eustis
When: Friday 6 to 9 p.m.
Details: Join us for our Eustis First Friday Street Party from 6 – 9 p.m.!  Our family-friendly monthly street parties host a wide variety of food, vendors and live music! We look forward to seeing everyone in Historic Downtown Eustis each First Friday!

First Friday Market
Where: Fruitland Park City Hall
When: Friday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Details: The First Friday of the month from 10:00am-2:00pm, we encourage you to come visit local businesses for food, unique vendors, and music. Be sure to follow Orange Blossom Market Co. for vendor specials and entertainment!

March Fresh Friday – Karaoke Takeover
Where: Lake Square Mall in Leesburg
When: Friday at 5:30 p.m.
Details: Come out to the Mall Friday March 3rd from 5:30-8 pm to sing either for fun or for a chance to win up to $75! Just like always, the audience will be choosing the winners by loudest applause, so be sure to bring all your friends with you! There will be a cash bar and $150 total in prizes!

Thundering Spirit Family Pow Wow
Where: Renningers Mount Dora Flea Market
When: Friday through Sunday
Details: Please join us for traditional Native American culture including drumming, dancing, crafts, and food. Bring the whole family and spend the day! Don’t forget to bring chairs and/or blankets to sit on. (Seating is available) Gates Open 9am – 10pm Friday & Saturday; 9am – 5pm on Sunday. Admission: Adults $10.00, 3-Day Pass $15.00, Children Under 12 FREE, Active, Retired or Service Persons FREE.

First Friday Food Trucks
Where: Downtown Clermont
When: Friday 5:30 to 9 p.m.
Details: Join your family and friends Downtown for live music and food trucks. Each month is a little different than the last, so get set to try some new tastes as well as some popular favorites.

Movie Under the Stars
Where: Waterfront Park in Clermont
When: Friday 8 p.m.
Details: The Clermont Parks and Recreation Department is bringing you great movies and awesome family fun. Join us for this event rain or shine at Waterfront Park for movies on a large projector under the Highlander pavilion. The feature will be DC League of Super Pets.



Stepping up for Missions Craft Fair
Where: GraceWay 10200 Morningside Drive in Leesburg
When: Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Details: All proceeds will go to benefit the GraceWay Church Mission Committee’s outreach programs such as Treadway Elementary School, the Open Door Shelter in Eustis, and the Leesburg Food Bank.

Lake Eustis Shoreline Cleanup
Where: Ferran Park in Eustis
When: Saturday 9 to 11 a.m.
Details: CleanUp Eustis is having our next CleanUp group event, and we need YOUR help! Grab your community groups, neighbors and strangers and come down to the Ferran Park Shoreline for an hour or two!
We meet at the bandshell at 9am. The city of Eustis will set out additional trash cans in Ferran Park, at Crazy Gators , and at the community center for our use. Any large items we find (tires etc) just place on land by the shore, and they will pick up.

LSSC Shamrock Shuffle
Where: 1250 N Hancock Road in Clermont
When: Saturday 8 a.m.
Details: The LSSC Shamrock Shuffle is our annual St. Patrick’s Day 5K/10K. This family-friendly race runs around the South Lake Campus in Clermont, including portions of the National Training Center course and portions of Clermont’s Hancock Trail.
All registered participants receive a t-shirt and gift bag. The race is timed with prizes awarded for top runners.

Family Camp Out in Fruitland Park
Where: 300 Shiloh Street in Fruitland Park
When: Saturday 5 p.m.
Details: Last year’s Father and Son Camp Out was so much fun- we think the whole family should come this year!! Join us March 4th on the Soccer Field for a night of fun. Fire pit, hot dogs, smores, games, and a late night movie on the big screen.
Tent set up starts at 5pm. Tickets are $5 per camper. *Tents not provided.*
