Rick Rojas considers each home he builds to be a work of art, designed with care and craftsmanship for each individual homeowner.

Rick has been in the construction industry for 38 years and in 2027, his company RJ Builders, Inc. celebrates 25 years in business.

Raised in Leesburg, Rick graduated from Leesburg High School in 1984. His construction career began early on while attending college in South Florida. What started as a small remodeling business, to working the trades hands-on from the ground up, Rick moved on to working for a large builder/developer, further expanding his construction experience in residential/multi-family/commercial construction and land development.

In 1998, eager to raise his children in the same community where he grew up, Rick returned home to Leesburg. He worked as a construction manager for a local custom home builder until his employer encouraged Rick to start his own company, which he did and in 2002, RJ Builders, Inc. was established.

Today, RJ Builders, Inc. builds throughout Central Florida, providing a wide range of construction services, including:

• Residential and Commercial Construction 
• Large Scale Additions and Remodels 
• Commercial Build-outs
• Land Development 

Committed to quality in every aspect of building, Rick is proactive in the construction industry as a whole. Sitting on the board of directors of the Home Builders Association of Lake-Sumter, he remains active in government affairs. Having sat on the Board of Examiners for Lake County, he prioritizes being up-to-date on building codes and standards.

Rick has a long resume. He’s a father, husband, pilot, flight instructor, realtor, disc jockey, and business owner. 

“Having received assistance from so many individuals in helping me get my business started, I am a big advocate of helping others pursue their business passions,” he says.

“For me, it’s all about community and helping others in achieving their dreams,” says Rick, who sat on the Lake-Sumter College Foundation Board and built two homes for the Foundation, to assist students with additional scholarship opportunities.

Rick and his wife Lisa, also a Leesburg business owner, have been married since 2009. They are humbled by the decades of support for their businesses, and proud to raise their family in their hometown.

Attention to detail is obvious in every RJ Builders’ project. Whether building someone’s home or office, the company is all about doing things the right way.
