Royal Hibachi in Wildwood Brings The Sizzle to Local Communities

WILDWOOD, FL – For Kadek and Lyla, owners of Royal Hibachi, cooking is more than just a profession—it’s a lifelong passion. After spending over a decade perfecting the art of hibachi in restaurants across multiple states, the husband-and-wife team decided to take their skills on the road, bringing fresh, sizzling flavors to local communities through their food truck.
“Our journey started with a dream of creating something of our own,” Kadek said. “I’ve worked as a hibachi chef for years, but I wanted to challenge myself and build a business where we could connect with customers in a more personal way. The food truck allows us to do just that.”

A Unique Hibachi Experience
Royal Hibachi offers a modern take on traditional hibachi cooking, delivering high-quality meals with the convenience of a mobile kitchen. The menu boasts an array of flavorful options, from classic hibachi plates featuring tender steak, chicken, and shrimp to hearty vegetable stir-fries. Each dish is expertly prepared on a sizzling grill, locking in bold flavors and ensuring a fresh, made-to-order experience.

Beyond the main entrees, customers can enjoy a variety of sides to round out their meal. Popular choices include fried rice, noodles, spring rolls, crab rangoon, and grilled vegetables. The combination of flavors, textures, and fresh ingredients makes Royal Hibachi a standout option for food lovers of all kinds.
“We wanted to create a menu that has something for everyone,” Lyla explained. “Whether you love the smoky flavors of grilled steak or prefer a lighter vegetable stir-fry, we make sure every dish is cooked to perfection.”
One of the most rewarding aspects of running a food truck, the owners say, is the ability to interact with customers and become part of different communities. Unlike a traditional restaurant, Royal Hibachi has the flexibility to travel to different neighborhoods, local events, and festivals, allowing more people to experience their unique take on hibachi cooking.

(Kadek takes great pride in his food. ROYAL Hibachi is among the top Japanese food you’ll find in Lake County.)
“We love seeing people’s reactions when they try our food,” Kadek said. “There’s something special about watching a customer take their first bite and light up with excitement. That’s why we do this—it’s all about bringing joy through food.”
At Royal Hibachi, freshness is a top priority. Every ingredient is carefully selected, and each dish is cooked to order, ensuring customers receive a hot and flavorful meal every time. The team also takes pride in their customer service, striving to create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest.
