“I worked for my parents a long time and in 2023, I bought the business from them,” says Chad Purvis, who was born in the Keys when his dad, a Navy veteran, was stationed there.

“I’ve been looking for coastal pieces and they had a fantastic selection. The whole team–from in-store to delivery– were incredibly friendly and so easy to work with,” says customer Kristie Afonso.

“Some people shop furniture online, but if you come in you can sit on it and feel and see it for yourself,” says Chad. “Our prices are as good as internet prices and obviously, when you shop here, you’re supporting a local business and local employes.”

“Their prices are incredibly fair. It was very easy to see why they’ve been around for over 30 years,” says customer Rubianne Foster. 

Although they’ve retired, John and Cindy Purvis stop in occasionally. Chad’s 16-year-old son, Alex, is following in his dad’s footsteps and helping at the store.
