While most children his age are enjoying the carefree days of summer, Huck Dominy, a student at Central Ridge Elementary, is spending his break changing lives, one bracelet at a time.

The young entrepreneur has turned a passion for helping others into a powerful movement of positivity. Huck creates and sells handmade bracelets featuring words of affirmation, with all proceeds benefiting local heroes including first responders, military personnel, teachers, and healthcare workers. His mission is simple yet impactful: to uplift the community through small acts of kindness and generosity.

But Huck’s efforts don’t stop there.

This Monday, Huck is organizing a community food drive aimed at providing meals for children who face hunger during school breaks, especially those who depend on school lunches.

Then on Wednesday, July 24, Huck will visit a local nursing home, where he plans to distribute bracelets and homemade brownies to nurses and certified nursing assistants (CNAs) in gratitude for their dedication and care. “They take care of so many people, and I want them to know they’re appreciated,” Huck said.

Later this summer, Huck will take part in a “Welcome Back” event for over 2,400 school employees across the district. There, he hopes to hand out as many bracelets and brownies as possible to inspire and encourage educators ahead of the new academic year.

With each bracelet, Huck is not only promoting positive affirmations but also demonstrating that even the youngest members of a community can be a powerful force for good.
